Hairdressing (days and evenings) and
Esthetics (days) begin
April 9, 2018.
The Electrolysis program will also encompass the study of Thermolysis and The Blend techniques of hair removal. In this program you will become confident in probe insertion, sanitization of equipment, safety procedures, and supporting theory required to remove hair effectively. Electrolysis can only be taken as an elective to the hairdressing program.
Completion of Electrolysis is a perquisite to entering the Electrology Clinic program. There is no license or exam currently available in the state of Pennsylvania for Electrolysis. However, practicing in a licensed beauty, skin or manicuring salon will require that you attending an additional program leading to licensure in Pennsylvania.
Graduating the Electrolysis Program requires satisfactorily completing the program’s instruction, including the prerequisite Fundamental of Non-Hair Services, and the Electrology Clinic programs.
While this program does not lead to licensure, you will receive an official diploma, and you will garner a valuable set of skills. These skills will not only set you apart from other hiring candidates, but will allow you to become a profitable and career-ready beauty professional.
